1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Ahanaverse AI Innovations (OPC) Private Limited (CIN U62011WR2026OPC296037), with its registered office at Sarala, Saraldighi, PO Boral, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal - 700154, India (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal data when you visit https://www.ahanaverse.com (the “Website”) or use our applications, including the Ahanaverse AI application on Facebook and other Meta platforms (together, the “Services”).
We act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed under this policy, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and message when you fill in a contact form, request a quote, sign up or contact support.
- Account information: when you sign in to our Services, your name, email address, profile picture and a unique user identifier.
- Usage and device information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, dates and times of visits, collected through server logs and, with your consent, analytics cookies.
- Content you provide: text, files or other inputs you submit to our AI features, which we process only to provide the requested output.
3. Information from Facebook / Meta
If you choose to log in or connect with Facebook, we receive only the information you authorise on the Facebook permission screen. Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include:
- your public profile (name, profile picture and app-scoped user ID);
- your email address;
- for business features, information about Facebook Pages or Instagram business accounts you manage and choose to connect.
We use Facebook data only to create and secure your account, personalise your experience and provide the features you request. We do not sell Facebook data, use it for unrelated advertising, share it with data brokers, or use it to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing or insurance. Our use of information received from Meta complies with the Meta Platform Terms.
You can remove our app at any time in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, and ask us to delete your data as described in section 8.
4. How we use information
- to provide, operate, maintain and improve the Services;
- to respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
- to send service messages and, where you have agreed, marketing communications (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- to understand how the Website is used and to improve it;
- to detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, to perform a contract with you, or for other legitimate uses permitted by law.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who host, store, analyse or process data for us (for example web hosting, email delivery, cloud and AI infrastructure providers, and analytics providers), under contracts that require them to protect it;
- Authorities when required by law, court order or to protect rights, property or safety;
- A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the Website (for example to secure forms). With your consent we may also use analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure traffic and the effectiveness of our campaigns. These tools set cookies and may collect device and usage information.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in our cookie banner and change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above: account data for as long as your account is active, enquiries for up to 24 months, and data we must retain by law (such as tax and accounting records) for the period required. After that we delete or anonymise it.
8. Deleting your data
You can ask us to delete your personal data, including data we received from Facebook, at any time:
- follow the steps on our Data Deletion page; or
- remove the app in your Facebook settings. Facebook will notify us and we will delete your data automatically; or
- email privacy@ahanaverse.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
We complete deletion within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, have it erased, withdraw consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS encryption, access controls and secure hosting, to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.
11. Children
Our Services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verifiable consent from a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. International transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside India. When this happens we take steps to ensure the data remains protected and the transfer is permitted under Indian law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, for significant changes, notify you through the Services or by email.
